Basic Rules
- The basic premise of the game is that you want to have a hand value that is closer to 21 than that of the dealer, without going over 21.
- When all players are seated each player is dealt one card face up. The player with the highest card starts as the Dealer/Banker, if two players get the highest card then deal each player one card again until one player gets a higher card then the other.
- The Dealer/Banker does not participate in the betting for the hands they deal.
- Action starts from the left of the Dealer/Banker and rotates clockwise every hand. They simply deal and handle the bank for that hand.
- All cards are dealt face up, every player and the dealer receives one card each, then each player receives another card while the dealer remains with one card. The dealer will finish their hand once all players have had their turn.
- Players can Stand (take no cards) or Hit (ask for an extra card).
- Players can Double Down after their first 2 cards, receiving one extra card for double their original bet.
- Players have the option to Split Pairs up to 3 times and Double Down if required
- Dealer must stick on 17’s and above including soft 17’s i.e. Ace & 6
- Blackjack pays 2:1 unless the dealer hits a blackjack where there is a stand off.
- BlackJacks on Split Pairs of Aces pay 1:1 and you only receive one additional card (2 in total).
- No insurance or surrenders are available.
- Each player must announce how much they are betting each hand!
Players away from the table
- If the player who is the dealer for the hand is not at the table for their hand they will lose a maximum bet and the dealer rotates to the next hand
- If a player is not seated when it is their turn to bet, they will be forced to a minimum bet and they will receive 2 cards, they still have the chance to win the hand
